Care at Carle Eureka Hospital
Carle Eureka Hospital, 25-bed Critical Access Hospital, has provided highly accessible, high-quality care to improve health in Woodford County since 1901. Services include cardiology, rehabilitation, radiology and laboratory services, along with a state-of-the-art operating room and surgical services. Carle Eureka also provides primary care through clinics in Eureka, El Paso and Roanoke.Nurse staffing plan
Carle Eureka Hospital has a written nurse staffing plan, produced by the hospital's Nursing Care Committee, that guides the organization in determining the proper level of nurse staffing to ensure the highest quality of patient care and safety in conformance with professional nursing standards. The plan follows evidence-based practices, which recommend that nurse staffing in an acute care hospital be determined by the complexity of patient care needs in alignment with available nursing skills. The Nursing Care Committee produces a semiannual report.
