Faith community nurses' goal is to help empower communities, foster an environment of understanding, collaborate with faith leaders and involve you, your family and your congregation as active partners in a healthy community. Established in 1997 by Carle, the program has trained over 500 nurses who've found joy in serving their congregations.

Faith Communities
We encourage religious organizations of any faith to participate in the program. Once a registered nurse in your community has trained for this specialty, you’ll gain a healthcare educator, advocate and counselor.
