What You Need to Know for 2026.

Medicare Advantage Annual Enrollment Starts October 15, 2025.

Health Alliance and FirstCarolinaCare will no longer offer Medicare Advantage plans after December 31, 2025. Current members will continue to have full access to benefits and services through the end of the 2025 plan year. 

Carle Health will never contact you by phone for your personal health information or Medicare benefits information. Stay vigilant to reduce the chances of offering bad actors your personal information during this enrollment period. If you have questions about your insurance information or billing account, call (888) 71-CARLE (888-712-2753). 

Step One: COMPARE your options.

Medicare Advantage plans differ in their networks, prescription coverage and out-of-pocket costs. Take time to consider:
   •    The providers you see regularly.
   •    The prescriptions you take.
   •    The services you know you’ll need in the year ahead.
 

Step Two: CONFIRM plan details before enrolling.

Step Three: CHOOSE a plan that chooses Carle Health.

Enrollment for 2026 plans begins October 15, 2025 and ends December 7, 2025. Use the resources above and create an account at www.medicare.gov. After October 15, select a Medicare Advantage plan that keeps you connected to the Carle Health care teams you know and trust.

Reminder: Always confirm details directly with your chosen health plan. For the most current information, contact your insurance agent or provider. This page will continue to be updated with resources throughout the open enrollment period.

  • Senior Health Insurance Program (SHIP): SHIP counselors offer free, unbiased support in your county. View online
