Chaplain Services

At Carle Health Methodist Hospital, chaplains are available to provide comfort, support and a listening ear in a way that respects your personal values and choices, as well as your ethnic, cultural and faith-based heritage. Our chaplains respond to medical and personal crisis situations, while also being present in the patient-care areas to give support and encouragement in noncrisis situations. At your request, they can also assist in connecting you with spiritual/religious leaders of your own faith.
 
Contacting a Chaplain

If you or your loved one wants to speak with a chaplain, please ask your nurse to page the on-call chaplain, or you can call the Communication Center at (309) 672-5522 and ask for a chaplain.
 
Chapel

The chapel at Carle Health Methodist Hospital is open 24 hours each day and can be found on the first floor in the Crescent wing across from the elevators. The chapel is always open for solitude, quiet reflection and prayer.
