About this event
Mental Health First Aid (MHFA) teaches you how to identify, understand and respond to signs of mental health and substance use challenges among adults. You'll build skills and confidence you need to reach out and provide initial support to those who are struggling. You'll also learn how to help connect them to appropriate support.
This course will be held over two afternoons, Tuesday, Dec. 3 and Tuesday, Dec. 10. You must attend BOTH afternoons to complete the training. This class is free and CEU's are available for some healthcare professionals including social workers, nurses, physicians, occupational therapists, physical therapists and others. Space is limited.
If you have questions, please call (309) 304-2449.
