Carle Health is committed to serving the ever-evolving needs of patients and is pleased to welcome Carle Health Endoscopy Center Peoria and Carle Health Gastroenterology Peoria into our healthcare system, effective April 7. As part of our extensive Greater Peoria specialty services, the expertise and shared values of these teams will extend the high-quality care community members have come to expect as part of the larger Carle healthcare system. In integrating these two facilities, we will expand our services to more central Illinoisans than ever before.
“These facilities are staffed with talented and experienced physicians, nurses and administrators whose work ethic and commitment to those they serve already encompasses our values here at Carle Health,” Keith Knepp, MD, Carle Health Greater Peoria president, said. “The combined expertise of the team members at these facilities allows us to extend our services, perform a variety of effective procedures and keep that care close to home for patients.”
Carle Health Endoscopy Center Peoria is downstate Illinois’ largest freestanding, dedicated endoscopy center. The Peoria area’s first outpatient center dedicated to the diagnosis and treatment of gastrointestinal disorders has averaged a 95% patient satisfaction rate, and the American Society for Gastrointestinal Endoscopy (ASGE) recognizes the practice for promoting quality in endoscopy.
“We have spent nearly two decades working alongside Carle Health’s hospital system and look forward to growing and expanding that relationship as part of this integration. We share a common goal of providing high-quality services to our patients and communities,” Andy Paulson, executive director of Carle Health Endoscopy Center Peoria, said.
Carle Health Gastroenterology Peoria is the leading practice in central and southern Illinois, with acute expertise in gastroenterology conditions. Offering medical and surgical services, the team of nurses, practitioners and staff provides comprehensive diagnosis, treatment and knowledge to offer patients the best possible care.
“We are prepared and honored to serve the changing needs of our patients and their families as we join Carle Health,” Diana Rossi-Springer, practice administrator of Carle Health Gastroenterology Peoria, said. “We look forward to further expanding our scope of quality care and maintaining our role as a leading gastroenterology center within Carle’s vertically integrated healthcare system.”
Carle Health patients can expect coordinated support as we transition care and work to ensure a smooth and comfortable integration for providers and team members they know and trust. There will be no delays or interruptions in services as we welcome these facilities into our system.
