Midwifery
Carle offers one of the largest midwifery programs outside of Chicago. With more than 50 years of combined experience, our certified nurse-midwives offer you a safe, satisfying family-centered childbirth based on a philosophy of total physical and mental wellness in which birth is a natural event. For women with low-risk pregnancies, nurse midwifery provides sensitive, personal care in a hospital setting by highly skilled healthcare professionals who have degrees in nursing and nurse-midwifery.
