Early Warnings: Harnessing machine learning insights to improve endometrial cancer diagnosis
Pregnancy can be a wonderful experience, but brings with it new challenges and questions. Carle offers a CenteringPregnancy™ Program that allows pregnant women to learn from each other while spending more time with their medical provider.
Our program combines a personal health check up with your provider, along with group information sessions on prenatal and newborn care.
No matter what stage of life you are in, Carle is here to help you be great. From routine health exams, to having your baby, to menopause, we are your partner and advocate in helping you make healthy decisions and take control of your health.

CenteringPregnancy™ begins around the 12th week of pregnancy. Appointments are held once a month, then more frequently as you get closer to your delivery date. Each session lasts about two hours and is conducted by a nurse midwife as well as an additional nurse or medical assistant. During this time you will also have your private, regular OB/GYN check-ups with your provider. Your partner is encouraged to attend.
BENEFITS TO YOU
CenteringPregnancy™ extends the support system women have during this important time. Research shows participation in this program results in improved outcomes for both the mother and baby including greater satisfaction with prenatal care, decreased risk of preterm birth and increased breastfeeding rates. You will be better prepared to care for yourself during your pregnancy and more confident in caring for your baby.
