The American Nursing Credentialing Center (ANCC) bestowed Pathway to Excellence Program® designation on Carle’s east-region facilities today, spotlighting the integrated health system as the first in Illinois to gain the quality designation.
“ANCC Pathway to Excellence recognizes years of patient-centered care, strategic thinking and a culture of quality,” said Harry Brockus, Carle Hoopeston Regional Health Center CEO and vice president of Regional Health.
“This designation recognizes – on a national level – the world-class care Carle Hoopeston Regional Health Center and the east region provides for patients every single day.”
East region facilities include clinics in Danville, Mattoon, Rossville, Watseka, Milford, Cissna Park and Tuscola.
Pathway to Excellence – coupled with Carle’s Magnet status and Great Place to Work in Healthcare in 2018 designation – further bolsters the health system’s ability to recruit high-quality nurses and other essential staff to provide life-changing patient care.
Pathway to Excellence designation creates an understanding from both peers and patients that Carle Hoopeston Regional Health Center and east-region facilities are dedicated to a high level of quality. Pathway to Excellence celebrates organizations that encourage:
