About this event
Carle Health Mobile Harm Reduction and Overdose Prevention Services brings a range of non-urgent substance use support services and harm reduction resources to neighborhoods in Vermillion County.
Services are provided by our compassionate care team in a non-judgmental, accessible care setting including:
- Harm reduction education.
- Free naloxone.
- Peer recovery support.
- Connection to community resources such as local treatment services.
- Assessment for medication assisted recovery (MAR) services.
The Vermilion County Mobile Harm Reduction Unit supports the Vermilion County Community Health Collaborative and is funded, in whole or in part, through a grant from the Illinois Department of Healthcare and Family Services.
